Care is a collective act - and so is resourcing it.

We’re raising our first $100K to grow Care Lab.

We’ve been building Care Lab for over two years - with a ton of heart, hustle, and a shoestring budget. We’ve run a successful beta, assembled a powerful team, and gathered deep insights into what our community truly needs. Now we’re ready to take it to the next level - but we can’t do it without your support.

This crowdfunding campaign directly supports:

  • Fair pay for our team of moderators, facilitators, and program staff - the majority of whom are impacted caregivers

  • Development of parent-led workshops, community spaces and peer-to-peer tools that are grounded in our lived experience

  • Strategic national marketing with a focus on underserved caregiving communities

  • An expanded digital infrastructure to support national growth and access

  • A second beta test this fall to refine the platform for a strong public launch in 2026

What’s Next for Care Lab?

We’re hard at work preparing for our public launch in early 2026.

We’re building with care, because our community deserves nothing less - and we know that we can’t offer our community the grounded support they need if we’re moving at the speed of burnout. Here’s how we’re moving forward:

  • Fall 2025: We’ll run our second beta test, welcoming a new cohort and refining the platform based on real parent feedback.

  • Winter 2026: We’ll launch publicly—with the structure, visibility, and team capacity to grow sustainably.

  • 2026 and beyond: We’ll build strategic partnerships with schools and organizations, Care Lab will grow its reach—offering memberships that are resourced by businesses as part of their investment in the families they serve.

We believe that community, support and trustworthy resources shouldn’t come at a cost that leaves caregivers behind.

We’re building Care Lab with access and equity at the heart of our work and are committed to ensuring that our online network is welcoming to all caregivers who need this kind of support and community. That’s why institutional partnerships with schools, clinics, community organizations, and funders are a critical part of our vision—and business plan. These partnerships will allow us to reach caregivers facing multiple barriers to accessing the support they need and deserve.
