Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Care Lab for?

Parents with neurodivergent and disabled kids, across diagnoses and ages.

Is Care Lab just peer support?

No! Care Lab combines peer connection with guidance from experienced parent-advocates and professional neuroaffirming service providers.

What kinds of conversations come up?

Everything and anything: School advocacy, burnout, wins, parenting guilt and stress, co-regulation, boundaries, identity, grief, perimenopause, self-care, finding moments of ease, and celebrating the joys of raising our kids.

I’m interested, but not sure I can afford it.

We believe care should be accessible to everyone. Our pricing is designed to reduce shame and barriers. Care Lab uses a sliding-scale, community-supported pricing model so cost isn’t a barrier to participation.

Members choose a monthly contribution that reflects their financial reality: $25 per month (standard), $50 per month (pay it forward) to $12 (pay what you can). Those who are able to contribute at higher levels help make the community more accessible for others. No one is asked to explain or justify their choice.

We trust our community to resource this space in ways that are meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with our shared values.

How do I get the most out of Care Lab?

There’s no one “right” way to participate. Care Lab is designed to meet you where you are, with no pressure to post, attend live events, or keep up.

You have 24/7 access to community conversations, live gatherings, and recorded sessions. You can join in real time, return to recordings later, or simply read and listen—whatever feels supportive and sustainable for you.

Care Lab is here to support you, not add another demand.

Do you work with schools or organizations?

Yes! We partner with schools and organizations supporting caregivers to provide specialized workshops and build partnerships to offer parent communities subsidized access to Care Lab.
